Acrylate-based coatings are the most common and versatile chemistry in the radiation curing industry, forming the foundation of countless UV and EB formulations. Acrylates, which are esters of acrylic acid, are valued for their fast polymerization rates under UV light and electron beams, enabling the rapid production cycles that define the technology.
