Pick a route before you drop

You'll have a much easier time if you stop wandering and start moving with a plan. Fireflies are usually the cleanest points if you can hit them fast, while Vaporizers can burn through your time and supplies if you let the fight drag on. Don't just chase red dots across the map. Mark a loose loop in your head: beach line, nearby structures, cache spots, then a path toward extraction. It sounds basic, but it keeps you from getting pulled into useless fights.

Stack objectives instead of hunting one thing

The biggest mistake I see is players treating each Trial like a separate job. They'll spend ten minutes looking for Fireflies, then another ten hunting Raider Caches, then panic because extraction is miles away. That's a rough way to play. You want overlap. Clear a pocket of ARC units, check the nearby buildings, scan for ARC Probes, and move on. If a Courier or Assessor is close, take it, but don't cross half the map for one target unless your score really needs it. Good runs feel a bit boring at times. That's not a bad sign. It means you're not improvising every thirty seconds.

Know when the run is already good enough

There's a weird trap around 3,500 points. You're close, you're feeling sharp, and one more encounter looks harmless. That's where runs fall apart. A stray Vaporizer, another squad nearby, bad cover, low ammo-suddenly the whole raid turns into a mess. If you're sitting near the 4,000 mark and extraction is realistic, start thinking like a survivor, not a scoreboard chaser. Sometimes the smart play is grabbing one small objective on the way out and leaving. Sometimes it's leaving right now. Nobody likes backing off, but banking a 3-star run beats telling yourself you "almost had it" for the fifth time.

Play tight, leave early, repeat

This week rewards calm players more than flashy ones. Keep your fights short, reload before you move, and don't loot every corner just because it's there. If you're farming runs back to back, it also helps to keep your loadouts simple and replaceable, whether you're managing your stash or checking options like ARC Raiders Items cheap while planning future drops. The rhythm is simple enough: land near dense ARC activity, score quickly, grab nearby Trial progress, then extract before the map turns ugly. Do that consistently and the 3-star rewards stop feeling like luck.
