U4GM ARC Raiders Ship Models Farming Guide
Miniature Voyages has a funny way of looking small until it starts eating up your whole evening. One minute you're poking around for Ship Models, the next you're planning a proper route through Riven Tides like it's a job. These little models matter because they feed into Avian Alarm and the Last Resort event, and they sit in that same mental bucket as useful ARC Raiders Items you really don't want to lose after picking them up. The catch is simple: the game doesn't hold your hand. No big marker. No loud ping. Just tiny objects hiding in messy rooms, half-blended into shelves, counters, lockers, and all the junk you usually ignore.
Riven Tides is where I'd start
If you're trying to farm Ship Models without wasting half the match, Riven Tides is the map I'd lean on first. Hotel Panorama Azzurro is the obvious stop, but don't treat it like a quick loot sweep. Slow down a bit. Check reception desks, side tables, sofas, kitchens, storage corners, and those dull little shelves that look like set dressing. A lot of players miss models because they sprint through rooms while scanning for bigger loot. I've had better luck moving room by room, clearing each floor, then cutting into nearby apartments before anyone else gets too comfortable in the area.
Don't ignore the boring buildings
The residential blocks around the hotel are easy to underestimate, mostly because they don't look exciting. That's usually where the good scavenging happens. Open lockers. Pull drawers. Look behind cluttered counters. Ship Models can sit low, sit high, or tuck themselves beside other small props, so the usual “run in, grab, leave” style doesn't work well here. If you're playing with a squad, split the building by floors rather than all piling into the same room. It saves time, and it cuts down on that awkward moment where two people are looting the same kitchen while the next house is untouched.
Beachcombing changes the whole run
When the Beachcombing condition is active, your plan should change fast. Bring the Dockmaster's Detector and head for the shoreline, especially near the Port Authority side. The buried containers in the sand can be far better than normal indoor checks, and they're often the reason a decent run turns into a great one. There's also a nice rhythm to it: scan, dig, move, scan again. It feels less random than searching hotel rooms, though it can pull you into exposed ground. Keep an eye on sightlines, because other players know the same trick and they won't politely wait for you to finish digging.
Know when to leave with the haul
The hardest part isn't always finding Ship Models. It's leaving before greed gets you killed. Since the models work like extraction currency for event progress, every extra minute adds pressure. Common finds are fine, but a rare or legendary model should change your mood right away. At that point, don't act like you're immortal. Mark an exit, avoid noisy fights, and take the boring route if it keeps you alive. Some players also check market and item services through U4GM when they're managing game resources, but inside the raid itself, your best advantage is discipline: grab a solid haul, skip the unnecessary chase, and extract while you still can.
