Clients assume competence. They choose lawyers they believe they can trust. That trust is not built in courtrooms alone; it is built in waiting rooms, emails, and difficult phone calls. Legal client service training helps firms close the distance between being good at law and being good with people.

Who We Are

David Freeman Consulting is led by people who have spent their careers around lawyers and their clients. They know the pressures of billable hours, the weight of difficult cases, and the temptation to treat communication as an afterthought. Their work is a corrective to that habit — gentle, informed, and rooted in genuine respect for the profession.

What We Offer

The programs teach lawyers how to read a room, ask better questions, and respond to emotion without defensiveness. They address the practical realities of billing, delays, and bad news. Delivery options include in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and one-on-one coaching for lawyers who prefer private guidance.

When It’s Useful

• When a firm wants to improve client retention quietly and steadily.

• When younger lawyers need models for professional warmth.

• When a practice handles sensitive or high-emotion cases.

• When a firm wants to distinguish itself through service, not slogans.

• When partners want to leave a legacy of good practice.

• When clients have begun to expect more than legal answers.

Why Choose Us

There is no performance here. The training does not ask lawyers to memorize lines or fake warmth. It helps them pay attention — to the client, to the moment, to what is actually being said. That kind of attention is rare, and it is remembered.
