Getting a helicopter early can make San Andreas feel much smaller. You can cross the map in minutes, reach mission areas without traffic, and scout a location before landing. Other city rooftops

Several police facilities use the same aircraft selection. At Vespucci Police Station, look for the outside ladders leading to the roof. If you would rather avoid a tricky ascent, drive north to the Paleto Bay Sheriff Office. Its pad is at ground level in the parking area, which makes checking the location much easier.

Choosing the right helicopter

Commercial sites offer different options, especially when you want a clean getaway or a fast trip across town. Los Santos International Airport is a good place to look for the Buckingham Swift, sometimes wearing the green-and-red Flying Bravo colours. The Frogger is another useful choice. It may appear at Vespucci Tours near the beach, the naval port on Elysian Island, Sandy Shores Runway, or the high-rise roof in Pillbox Hill. Each location has its own approach, so check the surrounding roads before landing.

High-risk military options

For stronger equipment, visit the National Office of Security Enforcement building in the Palomino Highlands. You can enter the car park and use the ladder beside the main building to reach the roof without attracting immediate attention. Fort Zancudo has an Attack Buzzard and Cargobob, but entering the base brings a four-star wanted level at once. Have a route ready before you land, and keep enough space to gain altitude.
