If you’ve been grinding hard in Path of Exile 2, stockpiling Verisium, and suddenly found your stash completely wiped out after a quick trip to town, you are not alone. There is a brutal, widespread UI bug currently circulating the community that has caught many players completely off guard, instantly deleting hours or even days of resource gathering in a single click.

The issue occurs when you visit Farrow to buy Liquid Verisium. If you use the standard muscle-memory shortcut Shift + Ctrl + Left Click to purchase the items quickly, a major UI glitch triggers. Instead of buying the intended amount, the game instantly consumes your entire stored stockpile—potentially thousands of units—and deletes it entirely. To make matters worse, it completely disappears without actually giving you any Liquid Verisium items in your inventory.

Current Status & Fixes

The good news is that the developers are fully aware of how devastating this is for endgame progression. Grinding Gear Games (GGG) recently released an official statement via their Path of Exile X account to address the issue directly: "We are currently investigating an issue where using Shift+Ctrl+Left Click causes all of your Verisium to be removed. We are working on a fix."

According to recent reports across the PoE 2 Reddit community, GGG has already started rolling out a hotfix to patch this critical loophole. While the immediate danger of losing your entire stockpile seems to be getting locked down, the fix is still fresh. Some players are still reporting lingering visual bugs or UI sync issues when interacting with the vendor menu immediately after the patch, meaning we aren’t completely out of the woods just yet.

Immediate Workarounds

If you are actively playing right now and want to protect your resources, or if you've already run into a frozen UI, here is what you need to do immediately to keep your stash safe:

• Manually Click for All Purchases: For the time being, completely ignore your keyboard shortcuts when buying Liquid Verisium from Farrow. Do not hold down Ctrl, Shift, or the deadly combination of both. Take the extra few seconds to click the item directly from the vendor UI using standard, individual left clicks. It is a bit slower, but it keeps your materials safe.

• The Farrow Hideout Reset: If your Farrow NPC menu looks completely frozen, glitched out, or refuses to open properly, you can force a local UI refresh. Dismiss Farrow from your Hideout entirely, re-add him through your decorations menu, and then restart your game client. This usually forces the vendor system to reset to normal functionality.

• Check Alternative Stash Tabs: If you weren't buying items, but were simply transferring regular Verisium into your stash via a standard Ctrl+Click shortcut and it vanished, do not panic just yet. A separate, closely related inventory sorting bug has been causing materials moved with shortcuts to accidentally route into unintended tabs—such as generic dump tabs or fragment folders—rather than going into the active or dedicated tab you are looking at. Take a close look through your entire stash before assuming the worst.
