Where to Find the Temple

To reach the Temple of Nachi Falls, head toward the waterfall area in the Takashiro region and look for the dirt road that runs along the base of the falls.

The key navigation points are:

• Travel to the waterfall basin in the northwestern Takashiro region
• Stay on the dirt road that follows the front of the waterfall
• Once you’re near the base, look upward toward the forested ridge

The temple is not placed at ground level. Instead, it sits high above the waterfall, partially hidden in the trees. Many players drive right past it because they focus on the waterfall itself rather than scanning the cliffside above.

Spotting the Temple

When you’re in the right area, slow down and tilt your camera upward toward the treeline. The structure is a traditional red sanctuary, and it stands out sharply against the natural greens and grays of the mountain.

A good visual cue is the sound and mist of the waterfall below you. Once you’re directly in front of it on the dirt road, the temple should be visible through gaps in the foliage.

What You Can Do at the Location

The Temple of Nachi Falls isn’t just a scenic stop. It also plays into several in-game activities:

Photography Collection Landmark

This location is one of the required landmarks for the Japan photography collection. Open photo mode, position your car so the temple is clearly visible in the frame, and take the shot to register it in your journal.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GS Treasure Car

This spot is also tied to the search for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III GS. The vehicle can be found nearby on the dirt path close to the waterfall area, making this stop efficient if you’re collecting hidden cars.

Nachi Falls Trailblazer Challenge

Right around this terrain, you’ll also find a Trailblazer gate. The steep, uneven landscape makes it a good test of off-road control, especially if you’re using a rally-focused build.

Navigation Tips

The biggest mistake players make is staying too focused on the waterfall itself. Instead, the temple requires you to look upward and think vertically rather than horizontally.

• Recheck the dirt road at the base of the falls
